I never wore one either here in South Dublin, Compliance Central. Can totally relate to the sustained psychological struggle you outlined. Every entry to a store involved bracing yourself and being on the alert for abuse especially in the beginning. I could technically say I was exempt which I have some grounds for but she went beyond this. Truly brave. I hope in time she's recognised for the very brave woman that she is. Salt of the earth light of the world these brave souls. For me it was necessary to resolve that even though I was the only one in my area maskless I would remain true to myself and not bend the knee to nonsense.
